These new figures have smashed the iPhone 4S figures from last year by well over a million units and thats not even counting the others now on back order.
An article in The Australian reported "Apple plans to roll out the newest iPhone on its most aggressive launch schedule ever. The nine countries selling the device will grow by 22 on Friday, and the company plans to offer the handset in more than 100 countries by the end of the year."
